WhatsApp scams arrive from numbers you do not know, from a friend whose account was taken over, or from a group you were added to without asking. Fake Trading App Withdrawal Fee and Tax Scam is one of the ways this shows up: A trading app shows large profits but asks for tax, a deposit or an unlock fee before you can withdraw. The profits were never real.
